<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a distance from a subject in a wide range from a short distance to a long distance, and to assure a wide visual field by using a wide-angle lens even in the short distance. <P>SOLUTION: A first imaging lens 21 and a second imaging lens 22 of a first imaging section 2 are arranged close to each other, such that their optical axes are parallel. A third imaging lens 31 and a fourth imaging lens 32 of a second imaging section 3 are arranged close to each other, such that their optical axes are parallel. The first imaging section 2 and the second imaging section 3 are arranged so as to be separated by a prescribed distance, and an image is captured through the four imaging lenses 21, 22, 31 and 32, thereby assuring the wide range or the wide visual field in comparison with the case of using two cameras such as a normal stereoscopic camera. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
