<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a surface protective film having a surface with high gloss and free from defects for at least one of surfaces thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This invention is related to a method for manufacturing a surface protective film having a surface with high gloss and free from defects for at least one of surfaces thereof. In this invention, a plastic melted film, extruded using a nozzle with a slot, is sent to the gap between a cooling roller and a circulating metallic smoothing belt, in a molten state; is cooled through the contact with the cooling roller; and is pressed to be flat by virtue of pressure generated from the belt tension of the smoothing belt in the winding area where the smoothing belt exerts on the cooling roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
