<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To industrially (that is stably) produce spinel type lithium manganate particles having high characteristics and high durability and being suitably used as a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the spinel type lithium manganate particles includes: (A) a raw material preparing step to prepare a raw material mixture containing at least a manganese compound; (B) a molding step to obtain a mold having an L/R value of 3 or more by molding the raw material mixture prepared in the raw material preparing step when L is a size in a longitudinal direction and R is a maximum size in a direction (thickness direction) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; (C) a firing step to fire the mold obtained in the molding step; and (D) a pulverizing step to pulverize the fired mold obtained in the firing step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
