PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint cover apparatus for a roof floor, which has a simple structure, is easy to install, can reduce costs and can absorb a shaking motion of the same dimension of a joint portion even on an occurrence of the shacking in an earthquake. SOLUTION: This joint cover apparatus 1 for the roof floor includes: a draining cover 10 which is attached to an upper portion of a parapet 4 of one building 3; a chevron-shaped joint cover 15 which is attached to a parapet 4 of the other building 3 or an exterior wall surface 5 thereof in such a manner as to cover the joint portion 2; a plurality of wire-urging devices 16 which are fixed at predetermined intervals on the exterior wall surface 5 of the other building 3; a plurality of wires 20, the one-side ends of which are fixed on an upper position of a side plate of the joint cover 15, and the other-side ends of which are urged by the wire-urging devices 16; a waterproof sheet 24, the one end of which is fixed to the draining cover 10, and the other end of which is fixed to the side plate of the joint cover 15; and a plurality of waterproof sheet-hanging implements 25 which are attached at predetermined intervals on the waterproof sheet 24, and movably suspended by the wire 20.
