PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a high-purity useful substance in a good efficiency. SOLUTION: This method for producing a useful substance it possible to separate the cells from useful substance in a good efficiency by getting the useful substance concentrated in the vicinity of a boundary of bubbles, and by collecting the bubbles on forming bubbles by mixing a gas with a culturing liquid containing cells in a state that a hydrophobic useful substance precipitated in a solid state in the culturing medium.
