<p>To appropriately remove white powder contained in the atmosphere gas during annealing of a treatment material conveyed continuously from a heating zone to a cooling zone in the atmosphere gas for bright annealing and appropriately prevent lowering of the cooling efficiency caused by the white powder attached to the cooler or the like and deterioration of the surface gloss of the treatment material caused by the white powder attached to the surface of the treatment material. In continuous annealing furnace (10) wherein treatment material (1) is conveyed continuously from heating zone (12) to cooling zones (13a-13c) in an atmosphere gas for bright annealing, a guide duct (17) is provided to guide the atmosphere gas containing the white powder component from the continuous annealing furnace to white powder removal part (30). Also, cooling roll (32) that cools off the atmosphere gas to generate white powder and removal means (33) that removes the white powder generated on the cooling roll from the cooling roll are provided in the white powder removal part.</p> |
