The gripper (10) has a suction chamber (12) comprising a suction surface (20), where the suction chamber is attached to a vacuum generator i.e. pneumatic vacuum generator. A suction opening (16) is opened from the suction chamber. Three suction openings (32, 34, 36) are provided in the suction surface and comprise outlets that exhibit an irregular or uneven sucking pattern or sucking sample. The irregular or uneven sucking pattern or sucking sample is defined by the cross section, the form or the arrangement of individual openings.
