The hinged breach block (1) has a lower part (2), which has a fastener opening, and an upper part (3), by which the fastener opening is closed. An elastically deformable spring element (5) is provided, which cooperates with the upper part and lower part and its shape and arrangement is such that it is stretched by transfer of the upper part from a position to the another position. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a hinged breach block.
