<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of correctly identifying a moving picture content which cannot be identified correctly (detected) by a conventional technique, such as, a moving picture content having a cut-out section on a time base or a moving picture content deteriorated by compression noise. <P>SOLUTION: A feature quantity calculation device 1 includes a content acquiring portion 10, a key frame extracting portion 20, an area extracting portion 30 for feature quantity calculation, and a feature quantity calculating portion 40; the content acquiring portion 10 acquires the content; the key frame extracting portion 20 detects an instant cutting point in the content acquired by the content acquiring portion, and extracts two frames from the content as key frames, on the basis of the instantaneous cutting point; the area extracting portion 30 for feature quantity calculation extracts an area for feature quantity calculation, from the two key frames extracted by the key frame extracting portion; and the feature quantity calculating portion calculates a feature quantity from the area for feature quantity calculation, extracted by the area extracting portion for feature quantity calculation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
