<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FDB (Fluid Dynamic pressure Bearing) attaining ready and short-time injection of a lubricant, preventing the intrusion of bubbles and attaining ready confirmation of the lubricant amount, a disk drive device suited for acceleration by provision of the FDB, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The FDB 50 with a first capillary seal 24 formed between a first flange 15 fixed to a shaft 11 and a first annular member 18, and a second capillary seal 25 formed between a second sleeve 17 and a second annular member 19 is put in a vacuum tank and the lubricant 23 is applied to the open ends of the first and second capillary seals 24, 25. Then, air is sent into the vacuum tank such that the lubricant 23 flows into the FDB 50 under the difference in atmospheric pressure. The FDB 50 is radially disposed on the inner side of a line connecting an innermost peripheral part of a second liquid surface 27 with an inner peripheral part of the open end of the second annular member 19, thereby facilitating the measurement of the liquid level of the lubricant 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
