<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-mounted device capable of preventing the waste of resources. <P>SOLUTION: Upon reception of the notification of a new vehicle state from a vehicle state detection application 520, a vehicle state control unit 511 sets a new vehicle state in a vehicle state RAM 512, and provides vehicle state update notification to a task period control unit 513 and a message period control unit 516. Upon receiving the vehicle state update notification, the task period control unit 513 specifies an activation period of a task corresponding to the new vehicle state, and makes a task period change request to a scheduler unit 515.
