摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method and a tool for manufacturing a high-performance peripheral cutting blade in order to reduce cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the cemented carbide peripheral cutting blade with a cutting blade portion formed at a peripheral section of a disk-like base plate formed of a cemented carbide thin plate, the cutting blade is formed as follows. A magnetic field of 8 kA/m or larger is formed at a peripheral end of the base plate and in a space at least within 10 mm from the peripheral end by arranging two or more permanent magnets whose residual magnetic flux is 0.3 T or more on the base plate surface located inside the peripheral end of the base plate, or in a space located inside the peripheral end and 20 mm or smaller apart from the base plate surface. A magnetic attraction force is generated by exerting these magnetic fields on diamond abrasive grains and/or cBN abrasive grains obtained by previously coating a magnetic body. These abrasive grains are magnetically attracted and fixed in the vicinity of the peripheral end of the base plate by the attraction force. In this state, the peripheral end of the base plate is subjected to electroplating or electroless plating, thereby adhering these abrasive grains to the peripheral end of the disk-like base plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
