<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a ribbon-like electric wire and a terminal plate with high mechanical strength, reliable electric continuity, and no dependency on the skill of the worker, and prevent destruction of a diode that is disposed in the terminal box before the ribbon-like electric wire is connected to the terminal box and is electrically connected, in a method of manufacturing a solar cell module with a terminal box. <P>SOLUTION: The ribbon-like electric wire 11 and a terminal plate 22 are disposed so as to overlap each other to form a layered region 12. A pair of electrodes 42 of a spot welding apparatus is abutted against the layered region from the surface 13 of the ribbon-like electrode wire.
