<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for sealing a gas turbine engine. <P>SOLUTION: A turbine bucket cooling system (200) is for use with a turbine bucket (150). The turbine bucket cooling system includes a cooling air passage (202) defined in a portion of a rotor wheel (120). The turbine bucket cooling system also includes a cooling air manifold (204) defined in a portion of the turbine bucket. The cooling air manifold is coupled in fluid communication with the cooling air passage.
