PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stretching a tendon, in which vicinities of the ends of the tendon constituted by bundling a plurality of steel stranded wires together are respectively inserted through a through-hole provided in a structure and anchored by introducing a tensioning force, for making the tendon inserted through the through-hole provided in the structure while suppressing occurrence of torsion, and for enabling the predetermined tensioning force to be introduced into all the steel stranded wires even when the tensioning force is introduced into the steel stranded wires one by one. SOLUTION: Wire rods 41, which are almost equal in diameter to the steel stranded wire 21 and which are cut a little longer than the through-hole, are bundled by the same number as that of the steel stranded wires 21 of the tendon 20, so to be made as a dummy tendon, and the dummy tendon 40 is inserted through the through-hole 31 of the structure. An end of the one wire rod 41-1 constituting the dummy tendon is connected to the one steel stranded wire 21-1 constituting the tendon, while the other end thereof is pulled so that the steel stranded wire can be pulled into the through-hole in place of the wire rod. These steps are sequentially repeated for all the steel stranded wires of the tendon, so that the steel stranded wires can be inserted through the through-hole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
