PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit over-rich caused by leak of gas fuel during fuel cut and improve drivability after recovery from fuel cut in an air fuel ratio control device for a gas fuel engine. SOLUTION: A control means (12) shuts off gas fuel when fuel cut conditions are satisfied. After that, a step motor (11) is driven and controlled so as to continue shut off of gas fuel until it is determined that oxygen concentration detected by an oxygen concentration detection means (13) is not rich even if the fuel cut conditions is changed from satisfied to unsatisfied.
