PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a building, capable of easily perform construction, providing superior thermal insulation performance, and facilitating construction steps in a thermal insulation modification in which a vacuum thermal insulation material is attached directly on the indoor sides of walls. SOLUTION: In this construction method for a building, a plurality of furring strips are disposed on the indoor sides of walls which form an indoor space, a vacuum thermal insulation material is disposed between the furring strips, and an interior material is disposed on the indoor side surfaces of the furring strips to form a thermal insulation wall. The standard number of arranged sheets of the vacuum thermal isolation material for the floor of an indoor space is determined beforehand, and the vacuum thermal insulation material up to the standard number of arranged sheets is disposed in the indoor space. Thus, the quantity of the vacuum thermal insulation material can be defined for the floor of the indoor space, the quantity of the thermal insulation material necessary for each building does not need to be estimated, and the speed of construction can be increased.
