PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow participants to confirm content of main points in presentation and the like more easily in comparison with a conventional way.

SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a pointer position discrimination part 105 and a document screen display processing part 108. The pointer position discrimination part 105 detects a pointer placed over a document displayed on a screen by a projector and the position of the pointer in the document. The document screen display processing part 108 displays options for selecting the position of the detected pointer on a touch panel, and each time when a selection is made among the options, displays the document, for which the pointer is detected in the position pointed by an icon, on the touch panel while placing the icon so that it points the position of the pointer relating to the selected option.
