PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module for a liquid storage container performing light-emitting control of a display part such as an LED, without giving the influence of noise to a signal, and to provide the liquid storage container, a recorder, and a control method. SOLUTION: Data signals 402 and 403 are inputted to an ink tank from a printer and the ink tank drive-controls the LED provided to the ink tank, on the basis of the data signals 402 and 403.
