PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the circular ring strength of portions near the flange in a cylinder. SOLUTION: A stator assembly 1 includes a cylindrical member 3 having the cylinder 31 with a coil assembly 4 disposed on the inner circumferential face and a flange 32 protruded at the circumferential edge of the cylinder 31 in a direction perpendicular thereto. The flange 32 is provided with notches 321A, 321B, 321C, 322A, 322B, 322C to reduce the circular ring strength of the flange 32, causing its fastening force to be approximated for the other positions.
