PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining the height of ascent/descent, which can regulate the ascent/descent of a screen material when the screen material is positioned at the desired height of the ascent/descent, and the operation of which is prevented from being disturbed by bending occurring to a rotating shaft rotatively driven so as to lift/lower the screen material. SOLUTION: This device for determining the height of the ascent/descent of the blind includes: a rotary cylinder 30 which is provided coaxially with the rotating shaft 14 for rotatively driving a winding drum 16, and which can be rotated integrally with the rotating shaft 14; a driving cylinder 32 which is coaxially arranged in the rotary cylinder 30, and through which the rotating shaft 14 can be axially inserted in a relatively rotatable manner without being engaged; and a slider 34 which is arranged between the rotary cylinder 30 and the driving cylinder 32, and which can be moved in the axial direction of the rotary cylinder 30 and the driving cylinder 32 by the rotation of the rotary cylinder 30 or the driving cylinder 32.
