Disclosed are an organic light-emitting diode and a method for manufacturing same, wherein the optical transmittance of a transparent cathode is improved. The organic light-emitting diode of the present invention comprises: a substrate; a first electrode formed on the substrate; an organic layer formed on the first electrode; a second electrode formed on the organic layer; and a light transparent layer formed at least between the organic layer and the second electrode or on the second electrode, and comprises any one of an oxide family, a nitride family, and the salts and the composites thereof. The thus-configured present invention comprises a cathode electrode having said light transparent layer to thereby increase optical transmittance and decrease resistance, thus improving the electrical performance of products. |
