PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration that provides confidential information to a server and carrying out safe data processing in the server without leaking the confidential information.

SOLUTION: A server receives encryption data of confidential information, and carries out data processing using the received encryption data and a device key stored in a memory to acquire the confidential information. Further, an application process of the confidential information is carried out. For example, a unit key file storing a content encryption key is decoded to carry out content encryption using a unit key acquired from the unit key file. Alternatively, bind information or the like is added to the unit key file to provide the information to a user apparatus. The confidential information is provided to the server and data are processed in the server safely without leaking the confidential information.
