摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately start an internal combustion engine of a vehicle even at a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The control device (100) for an internal combustion engine is loaded on a hybrid vehicle (1) equipped with: an internal combustion engine (10); at least one electric motor (32); fuel property sensing means (26, 27) for sensing the property of a fuel supplied to the internal combustion engine; an exhaust valve stopping mechanism (24) stopping an exhaust valve (15) in a closed state; an intake valve opening and closing changeover means (25) changing opening and closing time of an intake valve (14); and an intake flow control valve (23). The control device is equipped with a control means (36) that controls the exhaust valve stopping mechanism for stopping the exhaust valve, controls the intake valve opening and closing changeover means for having the opening and closing time at the maximum lag angle, and also controls the intake flow control valve so that the intake flow control valve is in a closed state, on the condition that the sensed property is not more than a predetermined value when the internal combustion engine is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
