<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for recovering CO<SB>2</SB>from a gasification gas capable of preventing the recovered CO<SB>2</SB>from being contaminated with COS, without repeating cooling and heating operations and without increasing the steam consumption, even when the CO<SB>2</SB>recovery ratio is changed in recovering CO<SB>2</SB>from the gasification gas. <P>SOLUTION: After removing dust by a scrubber 20 from a gasification gas which is produced in a gasification furnace 10 and contains CO, CO<SB>2</SB>, COS and H<SB>2</SB>S, a part of the gas is subjected to a CO shift reaction by a CO shift reactor 30 to convert CO into CO<SB>2</SB>, and another part of the gasification gas is not subjected to the CO shift reaction by means of a bypass 34 and is mixed with the gas after the CO shift reaction. The temperature of the mixture gas is set at 180-300°C and COS in the mixture gas is converted into H<SB>2</SB>S by a COS converter 40. The H<SB>2</SB>S is absorbed and removed by a H<SB>2</SB>S absorption apparatus 50, and then CO<SB>2</SB>is absorbed and removed by a CO<SB>2</SB>absorption apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
