PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for copying an inner surface of space in a workpiece while possibility relating to copying of the inner surface is expanded. SOLUTION: The apparatus 2 for copying the inner surface 4 of space in the workpiece 6 includes an optical system 8 equipped with whole surface visibility while being subjected to image transmission connection to an image camera 10 and an evaluation device disposed in the rear. The apparatus 2 further includes an illumination arrangement means 16 including a light source 18 for illuminating a copy region grasped by the optical system 8 on the inner surface 4. The illumination arrangement means 16 is disposed to the optical system 8 and the optical path of the illumination arrangement means is selected so that a first axial section of the copy region is illuminated with bright field illumination and at the same time a second axial section of the copy region is illuminated with dark field illumination.
