PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide non-heading Brussels sprouts which can be used as a fresh vegetable or as a raw material for health-assisting food products (e.g. green juice) and has such high nutritive values as shown in a table. SOLUTION: A non-heading Brussels sprouts is obtained by hybridizing the pure line of Brussels sprouts as a seed parent with the pure line of acephala GP1 as a pollen parent, and the content of calcium is not less than 2,880 mg/100 g. Further, the non-heading Brussels sprout is obtained by hybridizing the pure line of acephala GP1 as a seed parent with the pure line of acephala GP2 as a pollen parent, and the content ofβ-carotene is not less than 60 mg/100 g.
