PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing toner for electrostatic charge image development, by which the toner for electrostatic charge image development can be easily and reliably produced, the toner corresponding to a low temperature fixing system, having good offset resistance, a narrow particle diameter distribution and a small particle diameter, and forming a visible image with good sharpness, high gloss and excellent color reproducibility for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The toner is produced by: dissolving or dispersing a toner composition containing at least a binder resin and a radiation-crosslinking monomer compatible with the binder resin in an organic solvent; adding or emulsifying the obtained solution or dispersion in an aqueous medium to prepare an emulsion or dispersion liquid; and granulating and then crosslinking the liquid by irradiation with radiation when the solvent is removed to render the solid content concentration of the obtained particles into 80 mass% to 95 mass%.
