The tool i.e. electric hand-held machine tool (1), has a housing (5) comprising two housing parts that are separately connected with each other, where one of the housing parts is formed as a pot-shaped grip part (4) and the other part is designed as a crankcase (2). A vibration reduction element (6) coordinates with the grip part, and comprises pneumatic vibration reduction fluid in a damper area (9) that experiences a state change during relative motion between the housing parts. The pneumatic vibration reduction fluid in the damper area is compressed by a piston (8).
