The invention relates to a portable electric device (D) including i) a portable housing (B) comprising at least one electric assembly (E) capable of consuming, in a predetermined time interval, an amount of energy at least equal to the maximum amount of energy that can be stored in a supercapacitor (SC) and that is able to be at the terminals thereof on the basis of the capacitance and maximum voltage thereof, and ii) two connection means (MC1, MC2) connected to the terminals of the assembly (E) and capable of being temporarily connected to the terminals of the supercapacitor (SC) in order to discharge the latter by the energy consumption of said assembly (E).
