<p>The present invention relates to a container for holding beverages comprising at its mouth a heat-welded portion (3) hermetically sealing the container and holding a straw (4) the lower end of which is submerged in the beverage, the walls of the opening of the upper end of the straw being crushed and hermetically welded with a reversible weld (7) for the purpose of preventing the accidental spillage of the beverage when the container is manipulated during its opening, and such that said opening of the straw (4) can easily be opened by simple pressure with the fingers. The invention also relates to a machine for the manufacture of containers comprising means for performing the mentioned reversible weld after the straw is gripped and separated from the remaining straws of a straw storage.</p> |
