<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus achieving facilitation of approach to a waste liquid collection tank from the outside, and improvement of working efficiency in replacement work of the waste liquid collection tank. <P>SOLUTION: A waste liquid fullness display unit 15 is provided on a front upper surface of a body 1 of the image forming apparatus 100, and the waste liquid collection tank 7 is provided at the front of the body 1 to be positioned below the waste liquid fullness display unit 15, then an opening/closing cover for exposing and covering the waste liquid collection tank 7 is provided on the front face of the body 1. A user U looks at the waste liquid fullness display unit 15, shifts a line of sight still keeping such posture and opening the opening/closing cover 6 while looking at the opening/closing cover 6.
