PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which enables a slide lever for fixing a suction grille to be mounted on the suction grille in an inexpensive constitution. SOLUTION: This air conditioner includes: a decorative panel (not shown in the figure) mounted on an indoor unit body (not shown in the figure); a suction grille 10 mounted on the decorative panel; a hinge (not shown in the figure) disposed on one side of the suction grille 10 and locked on the decorative panel and a slide lever holding part 21 disposed on the opposite side of the hinge of the suction grille 10 for fixing the slide lever 14 for opening and closing the suction grille 10. Locking claws 22 for positioning, are disposed on the side faces of the slide lever 14, a square hole 23 for warping the side faces of the slide lever 14 is formed near the locking claws 22, and locking holes 24a, 24b for fitting the locking claws 22 are formed on side faces of the slide lever holding part 21, thus an extra component for fixing the slide lever 14 is not needed, and the inexpensive constitution is then provided.
