PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of compatibly achieving inhibition of bounce due to squeeze force and improvement of magnetism shut off characteristics. SOLUTION: A lower end surface part 49 of a fixed core 35 and an upper end surface part 45 of a movable core 36 form a pair of opposing surfaces opposing each other in an axial direction Z. A circumferential convex part 51 projecting in the axial direction Z is provided on a part of an area of the upper end surface part 45 of the movable core 36 opposing to the lower end surface part 49 of the fixed core 35. A circumferential groove part 60 depressed in the axial direction Z from a tip surface 511 is formed on the convex part 51.
