PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive waste solidification method which enable cement solidification of a radioactive incineration ash and fly ash containing compounds of zinc or lead, without retarding and in which strength of the obtained cement solidified body is high. SOLUTION: The radioactive waste solidification method enables cement solidification of a radioactive waste containing one or more kinds of compounds selected from among zinc compounds and lead compounds. The radioactive waste, kneading water, cement, and a setting accelerator are kneaded to prepare a cement kneaded material, and the cement kneaded material is then solidified, and the setting accelerator contains alumina cement or calcium aluminate.
