PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for adsorbing a gas that exhibits sufficient capability of blocking air in the atmosphere to prevent its deterioration caused by air adsorption, and exhibits excellent capability of adsorbing a gas even if an acidic gas is contained in a gas to be adsorbed. SOLUTION: The device 1 for adsorbing a gas includes a ZSM-5 zeolite 2 at least exchanged with copper, an adsorbent 3 for adsorbing an acidic gas, and a container 4 made from a material of very low gas permeability. The container 4 is divided at least into two spaces by a divider 5 having controllable permeability. The ZSM-5 zeolite 2 exchanged with copper and the adsorbent 3 for adsorbing an acidic gas are each stored in the different spaces of the container 4 respectively. A protrusion 6 that breaks the seal of the container 4 with an external force applied thereonto to enable the one space storing the ZSM-5 zeolite 2 exchanged with copper and the other space storing the adsorbent 3 for adsorbing an acidic gas, to communicate with the outer space, is attached to the outside of the container 4 of the space side wherein the adsorbent 3 for adsorbing an acidic gas is stored.
