PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition improving grip performance and resistance to fracture of a tire. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is obtained by compounding a high molecular-weight polymer (A) which is an aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene compound copolymer or a conjugated diene compound polymer having a weight-average molecular weight calculated in terms of polystyrene of 2.0×10<SP>5</SP>to 3.0×10<SP>6</SP>and a low molecular-weight polymer (B) which is an aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene compound copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight (a) calculated in terms of polystyrene of 2.0×10<SP>3</SP>to 1.0×10<SP>5</SP>and a peak molecular weight (b) after ozone decomposition calculated in terms of polystyrene of 5×10<SP>2</SP>to 5×10<SP>4</SP>and a molecular weight distribution of >1.40, wherein the weight-average molecular weight (a) calculated in terms of polystyrene and the peak molecular weight (b) satisfy the following formula: (a)≥(b).
