<p>An improved pile assembly (10) and a method for forming an improved pile assembly (10) enables old or existing piles (11) to be efficiently repaired and reused. The method includes positioning a connection sleeve (13) adjacent an existing pile (11), wherein the connection sleeve (13) includes an open top section (15) for receiving a replacement pile (12) and an open bottom section (16) for receiving the existing pile (11).
