<p>A pneumatic disc brake device for a railroad vehicle, capable of, even with the use of a brake cylinder having the same diameter as the brake cylinders in conventional devices, generating a braking force which is two times the braking force exerted by the conventional devices. The pneumatic disc brake device for a railroad vehicle is provided with first and second brake levers (1, 2), a pair of braking elements (4) each mounted to one end of each lever through a braking element head (5) so as to face a brake disc, and a brake cylinder (6) disposed between the other end of each of the first and second brake levers. The brake cylinder (6) is composed of a first cylinder (6a) and a second cylinder (6b) which are arranged in series.</p> |
