<p>The present invention provides a method, an apparatus and a system for message transmission in passive optical network (PON). The method mainly includes that a backup optical line termination (OLT) receives an uplink message sent from an optical network unit (ONU); and when a main/backup switch occurs, it sends the uplink message carrying port information, which includes ONU port information and backup OLT port information, to a broadband network gateway (BNG), in order that the BNG transfers the uplink message according to the port information. Application of the present invention can enable uplink and downlink layer 2 control protocol (L2CP)/dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP)/point-to-point over ethernet (PPPoE) messages to carry correct OLT port information during a PON system main/backup switch process, will not lead to L2CP/DHCP/PPPoE uplink and downlink service interruption, or will make the interruption delay minimum.</p> |
