PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a wanted scene to be displayed in time-release manner on a time line, even if the frame gaps that are displayed on the time-line are expanded. SOLUTION: Frames are extracted out of a moving image recorded on a recording medium and displayed on a display; the frame images are weighed and a playlist of moving image scenes which a user prefers is generated according to the weight and is displayed in time release manner on the time-line; and a desired scene is displayed on time line and prevented from being missed.
