PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component and its manufacturing method, for suppressing degradation in insulation characteristic between coils. SOLUTION: In a laminate 12, a plurality of porous insulator layers 16 are stacked. A coil L1 is provided in the laminate 12, and forms a circular orbit R in top view along z-axis direction. A coil L2 is provided closer to negative direction side in the z-axis direction than to the coil L1 in the laminate 12, and forms an orbit which is overlapped with the orbit R in top view along the z-axis direction. The coil L1 and L2 constitute a common mode choke coil. Dummy conductors 22a and 22b are provided closer to the positive direction side in the z-axis direction than to the coil L1 and closer to the negative direction side in the z-axis direction than to the coil L2, respectively, in the laminate 12, and overlapped with the orbit R in top view along the z-axis direction.
