PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unloader capable of holding an article securely to prevent it from falling down and suppressing deformation of article to the minimum extent when inverting a conveyor of the unloader. SOLUTION: This unloader includes an inversion means having an inversion shaft 11 and an inversion driving motor 12, the conveyor 2 installed on the inversion shaft of the inversion means, and a tray holding means 6 being movable to approach/leave a transfer face of the conveyor 2. A tray conveyed by a tray transfer means and including the aligned articles loaded on it is held by the tray holding means 6, the tray holding means 6 is drawn and moved to the conveyor transfer face to press the article against the conveyor transfer face and bring it in contact with the conveyor transfer face. The conveyor 2 and the tray holding means 6 are inverted by the inversion means, the tray holding means 6 is moved and is separated from the conveyor transfer face, and the conveyor 2 is operated to deliver the article on the conveyor. The transfer face of the conveyor 2 is constituted by a plurality of thin and long pillow-like air bags 3 arranged in parallel to make the longitudinal direction the orthogonal direction to the direction of transfer of the conveyor.
