PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving operation rates of a device for conveying paper sheets conveying the paper sheets by an air flow. SOLUTION: This device for conveying the paper sheets includes a blast pipe 10, a feeding device for feeding the paper sheets into the blast pipe 10, an air flow generating device for generating the air flow for conveying the paper sheets in the blast pipe 10, and a collecting device arranged in the end of the blast pipe 10 for collecting the paper sheets conveyed in the blast pipe 10. The collecting device includes a separation part 50 separating the paper sheets conveyed in the blast pipe 10 from the air flow, and the separation part 50 includes a conveyance belt 51 stretched in parallel with the conveyance direction of the paper sheets conveyed in the blast pipe 10.
