PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of a process for determining the amount of members required for a building. SOLUTION: An input unit receives the input of the dimensions of a building to be designed and the dimensions of members used in the building. Based on the dimensions input by the input unit, the installation locations of the members are allocated to the building.
