<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently efficiently output reproduction light from an optical recording medium by fully suppressing the deterioration of the S/N ratio of the reproduction light, by an optical filter which transmits servo light and reflects recording/reproduction light, the servo light and the recording/reproduction light included in transmitted light having been transmitted through the recording layer of the optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The optical filter used for the optical recording medium is provided with the recording layer and the optical filter which transmits the servo light and reflects the recording/reproduction light, the servo light and the recording/reproduction light included in the transmitted light having been transmitted through the recording layer. The optical filter is provided with a cholesteric liquid crystal layer, wherein the surface roughness (Ra) of the incident surface of the transmitted light is ≤10 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
