<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a printer including an apparatus wherein a predetermined phenomenon occurs without affecting printing of a printer wherein the predetermined phenomenon does not occur when the predetermined phenomenon occurs in one of one or more printers each constituted of a plurality of optionally combined apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device 18 transmits a detection result of a communication error having occurred on a second transmission path 26 and specification information for specifying the apparatus wherein the communication error occurs according to the detection result to the printer 14 connected to the communication device 18. The printer 14 receives the detection result of the communication error and the specification information transmitted by the communication device 18, specifies the printer receiving influence of the communication error having occurred on the second transmission path 26 in reference to a management table a, and performs printer stop processing of stopping the apparatuses in predetermined order, to the specified printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
