<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting tool for a vehicle capable of forming a low-beam light distribution pattern with a slanted cutoff line without increasing the number of lighting tool units. <P>SOLUTION: With a headlight for a vehicle 10, a flat-face light-emitting part 25 of a light source 24 is arranged so that its horizontal cut part 25a and slanted cut part 25b form a horizontal cutoff line and a slanted cutoff line, respectively, of a low-beam light distribution pattern projected, whereby, a vivid horizontal cutoff line and slanted cutoff line in the low-beam light distribution pattern are formed, by light from the flat-face light-emitting part 25 reflected at a cross-shape area in a rear face 22b of a transparent member 22. Further, a diffusion pattern diffused in a horizontal direction in the low-beam light distribution pattern is formed, by light from the flat-face light-emitting part 25 reflected at a slanted reflection area in the rear face 22b of the transparent member 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
