PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the remote controllability of a mobile unit in a remote control system including the mobile unit and a remote controller. SOLUTION: A remote control system includes an unmanned vehicle B mounted with an onboard camera 14, a display unit 33 for displaying an image, and a remote controller C with an operation unit 36 for performing remote control where the remote controller C is provided with a FIFO buffer memory 31b between a reception processing means 31a and a data processing means 31c for storing data from the reception processing means 31a and delaying the data outputted to the data processing means 31c by a predetermined time. Thereby, even if there is a change in a reception delay time of data from the unmanned vehicle B, an abrupt change of an image on the display unit 33 is prevented, and the remote controllability of the unmanned vehicle B is improved.
