PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an N-monoalkyl-3,5-dibromoaniline derivative compound which is a source material used when synthesizing a fluorine-containing diboronic ester compound being a curing agent of a fluorine-containing polyether compound, and to provide a method for producing the derivative. SOLUTION: The N-monoalkyl-3,5-dibromoaniline derivative compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is 1-3C alkyl; and Rf is 1-20C perfluoroalkyl which may have an ether bond in the chain) is produced by making an N-monoalkyl-3,5-dibromoaniline react with a perfluorocarboxylic acid derivative represented by the general formula: RfCOX (wherein, Rf is 1-20C perfluoroalkyl which may have an ether bond in the chain; and X is RfCOO, Cl, F or OH).
